Eye problem..Please help.?

Today when I was at work, I noticed my eye becoming very sensitive. It didn't hurt or anything. Just simply annoying. I came home, and it got worse. So i took out my contact and that made it even WORSE. It's very watery, red, and irritated. I looked up the symptoms of an ulcer, but I'm not sensitive to light or have blurred vision. When I put my contact back in, it helps A LOT. Almost like it's shielding my eye from something. It seems like it could be a small cut or something. Any help?
