Would the police be able to identify who I am?

I was having a really bad day, i was really stressed out and sick of dealing with people all day, so i asked this girl for a smoke, so she said you wanna smoke, here you go, and she flicked it at me, I was so stressed i couldnt take it, i started whaling on her in the middle of the park, i knocked out her teeth so im kinda worried this could be construed as aggrivated assalt, anyways i noticed she was looking at a tattoo on my neck the police know about. My question is, do you think i will get caught for this, and how serious do you think the police are investigating this?
